Unlike some other aviation training schools, FTA is the approved FEE-HELP provider not the associated University offering the credit transfer.FTA has teamed up with The University of Adelaide so that students that successfully complete the professional vocational training package, Diploma in Aviation (Instrument Flight Operations), receive 24 credits towards an academic program in the form of a Bachelors Degree in Commerce.
Advantages of doing your Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Flight Operations) with FTA are:
- Full VET FEE-HELP amount can be put towards the flying training component. In other words, you will not have to use part of the fund to pay for the University degree portion of the training
- Training can be completed in 40 weeks opposed to a minimum 3 year duration.
- On completion of the training you will receive 24 credits from the University of Adelaide towards a Bachelors Degree in Commerce. It is up to you to elect whether you wish to complete the degree.
