Q. As an overseas student, can I obtain work in Australia while studying?
A. Candidates on a Student Visa are required to do full time study but you can apply for permission to work once you have commenced your full time studies. If you are given permission to work, there will be restrictions on the number of hours you will be allowed to work in a week (usually 20 hours/week).
