Commercial Pilots Licence
Private Fixed Wing Pilot Training > Commercial Pilot's Licence | Home
A Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL) allows a pilot to act as the pilot of a single engine aircraft for remuneration. The course consists of a minimum of 179 hours and ground theory towards the seven CASA ground theory subjects.

The AFTC offers these courses either on a full time basis or part time self study basis.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will also be issued with an Australian Certificate IV in Aviation with registration number AVI40108.

Our full time program integrates flying and ground theory training in a classroom environment.  We plan to run these courses on a monthly basis.  These courses are designed for local and international students, 18 years and over, with little or no previous flying experience.
