Winners of the Cathay Betsy Program visit FTA
Tuesday, May 17, 2011
FTA was pleased to host the Cathay Betsy Program Winners. The Betsy Program is a Cathay corporate recognition programme that aims to express the company's appreciation for acts of extraordinary service, and at the same time promote the concept of service excellence at the airline.
The Cathay Betsy Award Programme was launched in 2005 and it is an annual campaign. The winners of the Betsy Award are operational staff who have received excellent feedback from Cathay passengers. Their stories are nominated by department heads and selected by a judging panel which involves senior management from Cathay.
This is the first time Cathay have awarded the winners a trip to Adelaide and FTA. The three Betsy winners were staff of Cathay and Dragonair and they were escorted by two Cathay staff members.
The Betsy group enjoyed a trial instructional flight at FTA. They visited the Classic Jet Fighter Museum and Control Tower Building at Parafield. The group also visited the Barossa Valley and the Adelaide City Centre enjoying China Town and sampling some of our wonderful restaurants and wines.
