| In mid 2008, HKGFS and FTA reached a training agreement whereby FTA trained two HKGFS line captains to instructor level. Upon completion of the training course Capt Suk Yin Yang stayed at FTA for a period of 8 months developing her instructional techniques. Capt. Suk Yin Yang has finished her deployment at FTA and will return to Hong Kong. On Captain Suk Yin Yang’s farewell, Pine Pienaar, FTA’s CEO commented “It has been an absolute privilege to have Capt. Yang instructing at FTA for 8 months. She brought with her the practical experience of operating in difficult and challenging conditions with HKGFS, which will stand the HKGFS students in good stead for the future. We trust that the experience she has gained at FTA as an instructor has been valuable to her and that she will be able to apply these instructional techniques in the operational environment back in Hong Kong Although we say good bye to Capt. Yang, we look forward to Capt. Kwok Leung Lee’s arrival and hope that his next 8 month instructional duties at FTA are successful ones” FTA also wishes to thank HKGFS for their cooperation in this exciting instructor program, as well as for their continued support for FTA.
