Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, is a modern and innovative city with a population of around 1.2 million people. With a Mediterranean climate, South Australia is home to some of the worlds leading wine growing areas, many of these within a one hour drive of Adelaide.

A vast expanse of Australia’s central and outback regions are located to the north and west of Adelaide however the city boasts many beautiful beaches and offers a wide variety of water sports. Almost all other sporting activities are also catered for in Adelaide.

Adelaide is a truly multicultural city. This diversity is reflected in the large number of carnivals and art festivals that are a feature of the Adelaide community, and the many fine restaurants, theatres and art galleries in the city.
