At Adelaide, a self-contained and secure campus encompasses not only training facilities, but also the residential village, Cadets’ Mess, prayer room, and impressive sporting and recreational resources. We pride ourselves on offering not only the facilities, but also the experience and knowledge to provide ideal training and care for students of all cultures and nationalities.
Our cadet population is housed in modern, well-appointed chalets. Each student has his or her own study bedroom, sharing a lounge and bathroom with three other cadets. All meals are provided in the Cadet’s Mess, with meal times to suit training requirements and cultural needs such as Ramadan. We prepare meals to suit students’ tastes, with their needs continuously monitored and a formal quality assurance programme in place.
We have our own cable TV network, with continuous access to the flying programme, other campus information, and a variety of Asia Pacific satellite programmes. Our Cadets’ Mess boasts a dining room, lounge, bar and television area. Sporting facilities include a swimming pool, football pitch, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, fully-equipped gymnasium, golf practice area, and facilities for badminton and table-tennis.
In keeping with our total airline orientation, the environment at Adelaide accords as closely as possible with airline practice and procedures.
At Adelaide, the ethos is one of personal growth, maturity and self-discipline. We require high standards of courtesy and punctuality, that a uniform is worn on duty, with smart casual dress in the common rooms. Our cadets work hard - and we work hard in supporting them as they achieve their training goals.
