Instructor Training Scholarship
FTA provides a comprehensive Flight Instructors Course.
Our philosophy is safe, quality training with an emphasis in customer care and instructor performance is paramount in this process. Our instructor program plays a major role in achieving our quality focussed goals.
The FTA Flight Instructor Course integrates flying and ground training and is aimed at gaining a CASA Grade Three Instructor Rating qualification.
Pre-requisites
To be suitable for the course, candidates need to be Australian citizens/residents and should have:-
• an Australian Commercial Pilot’s Licence
• Command Instrument Rating (current) or Night VFR
• a valid Class One Medical
• ASIC
Candidates who meet the pre-requisites of the course may be invited to undertake a selection process. This process will consist of a flight assessment and interview.
Course dates:
- 10 October 2011
- 16 January 2012
- 10 April 2012
Candidates who successfully complete the course may be eligible for employment, although employment is not guaranteed and is based on performance during training.
FTA will offer an Instructor Rating Scholarship to those candidates that successfully complete the selection program. The scholarship will consist of half of the training fee being waived in the form of a bond.
