FTA expands into helicopters |

| FTA is pleased to announce its expansion into helicopter training. The College recently welcomed its first helicopter, a brand new Schweizer 300CBi, and, with the successful addition of helicopters to the existing Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC), has commenced flying operations.
Now the same high quality pilot training that FTA has provided to airlines for years is available to helicopter operators. The College has been successful in securing a launch contract to provide initial helicopter training for the Hong Kong Government Flying Service (GFS). The first batch of GFS students have commenced training with FTA where they will complete a fixed-wing PPL and a helicopter CPL. FTA see a growing requirement for professional helicopter training and have already flagged plans to grow this capability with the order of a second Schweizer 300CBi.
