FTA Wins Business SA Export Award

Flight Training Adelaide has been acknowledged for its contribution to the State economy, winning the HSBC Services Award at the 2006 Business SA Export Awards held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday October 20, 2006.

The Business SA Export Awards recognise South Australia’s most successful and innovative export businesses with the HSBC Services Award being presented for outstanding export achievement in a recognised services industry.

As a winner of a State Export Award, FTA automatically qualifies as a national finalist in the 2006 Australian Export Awards. The National Awards program culminates on November 30 with the announcement of the National Category Winners at a prestigious Gala Dinner and Award Ceremony hosted by Austrade and the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and officiated by The Hon. Warren Truss MP, Federal Minister for Trade.

The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) and the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) partner the presentation of this national program, which is historically one of the longest running business awards programs in Australia.

The national award program is supported by many of Australia’s leading corporations, export facilitators and industry groups. The program remains a high priority and top focus of the Federal Government.
